Israel Announces Pullout Of Troops From Jenin And Ramallah
On Thursday, Israel announced a pullout of troops from the Palestinian towns of Jenin and Ramallah. According to Israeli radio reports, the order to partially lift the blockade of the Palestinian National Authority was issued by Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon on Wednesday, January 2. The premier ordered the Israeli defence ministry to remove road barriers and open the roads that will pose no threat to the country's security.
