In Early February Russian Border Guards Sent 590 Tonnes of Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan

In the first days of February 2003 Russian border guards shipped about 590 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.

A regular shipment of humanitarian aid passed through the checkpoints of the Ishkashim, Kalaikhom and Horog border guard units, said on Saturday the press service of the Russian border guard troops in Tajikistan. 195 tonnes of wheat and 5 tonnes of vegetable oil were passed to Afghanistan.
