Georgia Elects Not to Extend Mandate of Russian Peacekeepers in Abkhazia

Georgia's National Security Council has today decided not to extend the mandate of Russian peacekeepers in the Georgian-Abkhazian conflict zone. According to Rosbalt's correspondent, the Security Council decided to return to the question after talks between the Russian and Georgian presidents on January 28 in Ukraine, and after the UN Security Council's sitting on January 31, which will discuss the Abkhazian problem.
