Ukrainian Gess Motor Ship on Fire For Three Days
The Ukrainian Gess motor ship has been on fire for three days now.
The press service of the Ukrainian emergencies ministry reported on Tuesday that the foam attack conducted by the firemen on January 20 did not give any results.
Textile plants, building materials and several tons of diesel fuel are on board the ship. Specialists fear that the overflow of oil products from the damaged body of the ship may lead to the ecological catastrophe.
It was reported that 36 people were on board the Ukrainian ship. Two of them were hospitalized with burns of various degrees.
Specialists have not established the cause of the fire so far.
