Ukraine finishes decoding black boxes from An-140 airplane crashed in Iran

The Ukrainian State Commission investigating the causes for the Antonov An-140 airplane crash in Iran completed the process of black-box decoding and started the process of flight simulation. So far, the commission experts have not prepared the report, the press-service of the Ukrainian Cabinet disclosed.

Representatives of the Ukrainian State and Inter-industrial Technical Commissions, International Aviation Committee continue checking all technical data and conduct a flight simulation.

As it was disclosed on December 27th by Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich, according to preliminary information of the Ukrainian Commission, the crash was caused either by a mistake of the pilots or by a mistake of Iranian air-traffic controllers. According to him, "the airplane was in a perfect technical condition".

However, the Iranian side denies the version that the air crash was caused by a mistake of Iranian air-traffic controllers.

On the night of December 23d, the Antonov An-140 airplane, which belonged to the Ukrainian airlines "Aeromost-Kharkov", crashed into the mountains in Iran, not far from Isfahan airport. 44 people were killed as a result of the crash.
