A technical board of inquiry comprising Ukrainian and Russian experts has started investigating the causes of the Antonov An-140 plane's crash in Iran. This was disclosed to RIA Novosti by Russia's consul-general in Isfahan Ivan Isachenko.
According to Isachenko, the commission's members, as well as representatives of the Isfahan emergency-situations agency, are now inspecting the crash site. They want to take away the second black box, which was found the other day beneath the wreckage.
It's also intended to identify crash victims, whose bodies were delivered to a local hospital's mortuary, December 25th.
The latest death toll is 45 people, including 39 passengers and six crew members, Isachenko went on to say. A seven-year girl was also killed, Isachenko noted in conclusion.
