Moscow has lost the competition for holding the EXPO-2010. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the International Exhibition Bureau yesterday. The EXPO-2010 will be held in Shanghai, China. The President of the International Exhibition Bureau tried to comfort Moscow by saying that, in the long run, it will host EXPO sooner or later. The most ardent supporter of holding the EXPO-2010in Moscow, Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov, was not disappointed. "The most vital thing is experience," he was quoted as saying after the voting that resulted in the victory of Shanghai. "Now we know what to do for the development of the exhibition movement," the Izvestia newspaper wrote.
