Heads of Russian Interior Ministry to visit Mongolia for discussions on combating organized crime and illegal migration

The Russian Interior Ministry leadership will discuss issues of combating organized crime and illegal migration with their Mongolian counterparts.

On Thursday, Russian First Deputy Interior Minister, Head of the Criminal Police Service, Colonel-General Rashid Nurgaliyev went on a working visit to Mongolia.

On Friday, the Deputy Minister and the heads of Russian Interior Ministry subdivisions from the regions bordering on Mongolia are expected to meet the leaders of Mongolian law-enforcement agencies. They will address issues of combating organized crime, property and lucrative violent crimes as well as measures to provide security during interstate railroad, air and motor transportation. They will also outline measures to regulate migration processes and curb illegal migration.

Following the meeting the parties are expected to sign bilateral documents aimed at developing cooperation between the two states' law-enforcement agencies.
