Russia requests evidence from USA that its citizens are fighting for Talibs

The General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation sent an inquiryto the US Department of Justice asking for information about thecitizenship of four al Qaeda rebels located at the Guantamo military base(Cuba), who declare themselves to be citizens of Russia. According toDeputy General Prosecutor of Russia in the South federal district SergeyFridinsky, the Prosecutor's Office needs this information, so that it coulddetermine whether this information is true or not.Earlier, the General Prosecutor's Office found out that three other rebels,who were helping the Talibs in Afghanistan, had Russian citizenship. .
