"Georgian trace" discovered in course of September 11th terror investigation

The Americans have discovered a "Georgian trace" in the course of the investigation of the September 11th terrorist acts.

According to a RIA Novosti correspondent, this was broadcasted on Wednesday night by the CBS channel. According to CBS, 15 minutes after the airjet hijacked by kamikaze-terrorists had crashed down into the Pentagon building in Washington, the National Security Agency, which conducted radio-electronic reconnaissance, intercepted a telephone conversation between an al-Qaida member in Afghanistan and an unidentified person in Georgia. In the course of the conversation the former reported to the latter that he had "good news" and "the other target would be hit soon".

The TV-channel quotes CIA analysts as saying that the conversation proves that both persons knew about the terrorist act, which was committed by international terrorists and led to the deaths of 3,000 people. Later that day, the analysis of the lists of passengers on board the four hijacked airplanes on September 11th exposed 3 al-Qaida members. It was established that the terrorist act had been carried by terrorists led by Osama bin Laden.

It is worth noting that the information on the so-called "Georgian trace" was announced only a year after the September tragedy. Moreover, Washington never expressed any reaction to the possible role of al-Qaida terrorists or other terrorist organisations, hiding in Georgia, in the September tragic events.
