Georgia reports evidence of Russia's sorties

Debris of ammunition with Russian serial numbers was found at the sitebombed in Georgia, Lasha Natsvlishvili, Georgian Deputy State SecurityMinister, announced in a live interview with Georgia's Rustavi-2television. He noted this debris was material evidence that sorties overGeorgia on August 23 were conducted by the Russian Air Force. The officialstated it was in the competence of the Russian military to find out whatfactory had produced this ammunition and what military unit used it.
