Russia, Norway to Cooperate Protecting Natural Resources and Environment

Today, in Stavanger, Norway, the Russian-Norwegian Program of Cooperation Protecting Natural Resources and Environment was affirmed. According to the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the document has been signed by Pyotr Sadovnik, a Deputy Minister of Natural Resources of Russia, and Einar Steensnes, the Minister of Petroleum and Energy of Norway. The program was affirmed as the Oil and Gas of Northern Shelf conference and exhibition continued. Today was the Day of Russia at the exhibition.

The total estimated resources of hydrocarbons contained in Russia's northern shelf amount to between 130 and 136 billion tonnes of equivalent fuel.
