Military expert Alexei Leonkov appreciated the decision of the US authorities to limit the list of weapons that Washington supplies to Ukraine. The United States refused to deliver F-16 fighters and four HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he said.
Leonkov linked the weakening of Kyiv's military support to the "exposure" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Western publications. He also pointed to the announcement of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which never happened.
"Poland supplied all of its PT-91Twardy tanks in the amount of 232 units. Slovakia delivered eleven MiG-29s fighters," Leonkov said comparing the scale of the assistance Ukraine gets from Europe.
According to Leonkov, Zelensky was thus presented with a "black spot".
