The National Interest names the place of a possible war between China and US

Washington is preparing for a military conflict with China in the Pacific ocean, writes Wallace Gregson in an article for The National Interest.

In his opinion, China sent a "final warning" to the Americans after Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan. The Chinese military immediately began military exercises near the island. More than a hundred combat aircraft and ten destroyers took part in large-scale training.

According to the author of the article, the People's Liberation Army of China can challenge American dominance in the Pacific. In this regard, the White House is already beginning preparations for the start of a full-scale war.

Earlier, Chinese representatives at a conference on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty pointed to the threat to international peace and security posed by the United States nuclear arsenal.

Beijing notes that they retain the minimum number of nuclear weapons necessary only for the country's security.
