MWM: Asian countries may supply to Russia weapons more powerful than HIMARS

American HIMARS would have no chance if Russia had in its hands the artillery systems of North Korea and China, which have no analogues in the world. However, there are difficulties in obtaining this weapon, reports Military Watch Magazine.

The authors of the article note that Moscow's allies may well provide it with artillery systems that match HIMARS or even surpass them.

Many consider the Chinese PCL191 rocket artillery system to be the most combat-ready in the world. In tests held in 2021, it demonstrated a firing range of 500 km, which is 543% further than HIMARS, the publication notes.

This means that it can cover the main part of Ukraine without even crossing the borders of Russia.

Its delivery is likely to be a game-changer on the battlefield, but the sale of this and other Chinese systems is hampered by Beijing's strict neutrality.

It can easily "shoot" HIMARS and the Korean KN-09 system, which has a firing range of 200 km. Its supply can be adjusted at a lower cost, the article notes.

According to experts, there is a higher level option. This is the North Korean KN-25 system, which shoots even further - over 400 km.
