Belarusian Lukashenka urges to prevent nuclear war

Belarusian Lukashenka: Ukrainian conflict needs to end to prevent a nuclear war

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenka said that the West, Ukraine and Russia should agree to end the conflict in Ukraine in order to avoid a nuclear war, reports Agence France-Presse.

"We must stop, reach an agreement, put an end to this confusion, operation and war in Ukraine," Lukashenka told the agency.

As Lukashenko said in an interview with AFP, Kyiv should "sit down at the negotiating table and agree that it will never threaten Russia."

“Let's stop and then decide how to live on... There is no need to go further. The abyss of nuclear war is on,” the Belarusian president said.
