Expert describes the real condition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Political scientist Oleg Nemensky said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine is exhausted. According to the expert, there is a lack of weapons and personnel in the Ukrainian army, as well as the difficulty of holding front positions.

Earlier the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov announced his intention to mobilize 1 million people to return the southern part of the country.

“Yes, such statements, of course, are populist. The situation is just the opposite of such statements. The Ukrainian army is already exhausted in terms of its human resource, there are not enough weapons. It is very difficult to hold even those positions that are in the east – they will gradually have to retreat,” Nemensky in an interview with Ukraina.ru.

He believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have chosen the tactics of building counterattacks in various directions of the front only in order to demonstrate to society the grounds for believing in the future victory of Ukraine. Therefore, there are victorious moods in Ukrainian society, despite the sad reality, the political scientist concluded.
