Moscow may need American HIMARS – Russian officer

Russian special forces officer: Russia may need American HIMARS

Fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine resold the American HIMARS multiple launch rocket system to Russia. This is reported by the Telegram channel Rybar. However, this information has not yet been officially confirmed.

Military expert, former special forces officer Anatoly Matviychuk appreciated how important the HIMARS system is for the Russian army. He noted that the latest multiple launch rocket systems of the Russian Armed Forces are much more effective than American ones.

“Our Hurricanes and Typhoons are far superior to the American system in terms of power, range, rate of fire and a number of other indicators,” the expert said.

HIMARS differs from Russian developments in the target designation and guidance system. The American multiple launch rocket system is tied to the orbital group and is a fairly effective digital system. The expert noted that the more known about the weapons of the enemy, the easier it is to find ways to deal with it.

"The guys from the Armed Forces of Ukraine are corrupt and will easily go to personally enrich themselves with Western aid. It's no secret that Ukraine has been actively reselling weapons supplied to them by NATO countries for a long time," the special forces officer concluded in an interview with MK.
