After the the special military operation in Ukraine end, Russian President Vladimir Putin has three options, writes The Hill.
"The Russian leader can 'launch a military campaign' or try to create an alternative to the UN. The third option is to strengthen power within the country," says University of Baltimore professor David Lingelbach.
In his opinion, Putin's position is solid.
"The special operation in Ukraine is going well, and the ruble has become stronger than ever since February 2020," the professor said.
In addition, Lingelbach drew attention to the steady growth of the president's rating.
"There is no one who, in the eyes of the Russian public, can make Russia stronger," the author concluded.
