Corporal from Volgograd Anastasia Savitskaya became the first female soldier to die during a Russian special operation in Ukraine. This was announced by the chairman of the city council of veterans Alexander Strukov.
Relatives of the girl said that she always dreamed of serving in the army.
“Since childhood, she dreamed of serving in the army, she signed a contract at the age of 18. Participation in a special operation was her choice,” they said.
As V1.RU reported, Anastasia began her service in the railway troops in Volgograd, then served in Nevinnomyssk.
In June, it was reported about the death of Major General Roman Kutuzov during a special operation. It was clarified that he died in the course of a combat mission near the village of Nikolaevka, Popasnyansky district, Luhansk People's Republic.
The United States does not recognize the entry of Ukrainian territories into Russia. Such a development will seriously complicate prospects for a diplomatic settlement
