President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is ready to cede most of the Ukrainian territory to Russia in order to end hostilities and for granting Ukraine the status of a candidate for joining the European Union with subsequent accession.
This was announced by the opposition politician, ex-deputy of the Rada Ilya Kiva, citing sources in the President's Office.
According to him, we can talk about the fact that three to five regions will become part of the European Union, as expected, and the central part and the southeast will become part of the Russian Federation.
Earlier, some experts expressed the opinion that the leaders of three European countries - Macron, Scholz and Draghi - arrived in Kyiv to persuade Zelensky to surrender part of the territories in exchange for a peace agreement.
At the request of Ukraine, Turkey detained a Russian-flagged cargo ship as it was carrying grain from the port of Berdyansk. The problem will exacerbate when Recep Erdogan leaves politics.
