All parties concerned should work towards a proper resolution of the Ukrainian crisis, Chinese President Xi Jinping said in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday.
"All parties concerned must take a responsible stance and seek a proper settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. China is ready to continue playing its constructive role in this regard," China Central Television quoted the Chinese leader as saying.
Xi Jinping stressed that China has always made its own judgments regarding the Ukrainian crisis.
During telephone conversations, Putin and Jinping discussed issues on the international agenda, including the state of peace talks with representatives of Ukraine.
The PRC chairman assured the Russian president that, despite the aggravation of relations with Western countries, relations between Moscow and Beijing maintain a good momentum of development.
