Massacre as Lebanese teacher goes berserk
A teacher went berserk in a Lebanese Education Ministry building, firing indiscriminately, killing eight people and wounding three.
The incident took place on Wednesday. One hour after the attack, the security forces managed to detain the attacker, Ahmed Ali Mansur, who was described as “having a fit of nerves”.
It appears that the teacher had a grudge against the civil servants who were contracting teachers for private colleges over his retirement pension. On the verge of his retirement,. he demanded a pension of 12.700 USD per month. When this was refused, he took out an automatic assault rifle and started a shooting spree.
