George W. Bush lauds Serbia for interaction with U.S. and Russia in shipping radioactive materials

Serbia has done a considerable share in the promotion of world peace by cooperation with the United States and Russia in the recent shipping of radioactive materials from the Vinci Institute near Belgrade to Russia, writes American president George W.Bush in a message to Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic.

In the message, whose text has been circulated in Belgrade, Bush on behalf of the American people thanks Serbia for its contribution to the campaign of ridding the world of terrorism. The American president writes that the people of the two countries are linked by friendship based on democratic principles.

As regards the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, the American president stresses that terrorism undermines the prospect for peoples of the entire planet to live in peace, freedom and well-being.

Since our states are at one in a consistent and resolute struggle against terrorism, we will win, George W.Bush is sure
