Prime Minister of Norway Sends Dirty Messages to People by Cell Phone

A female citizen of Norway received an obscene SMS message. The message was sent from a phone owned by the prime minister of Norway.

Prime Minister Kjell Magne Bondevik dialed a wrong number and sent a message to 54-year-old Kari Stamnes. The woman complained to the local newspaper Dagbladet that she was deeply insulted. She claimed that the message was very rude.

Stamnes tried to call back the number of the SMS message, but she never got any answer. After that, she decided to go to the telephone information system of Norway. She was told that the profanity was sent from a cell phone that belonged to the prime minister of Norway.

The newspaper Dagbladet published both the text of the message and the sender’s phone number. A spokesperson for the prime minister’s press service had to acknowledge the dirty message a bit later. The premier apologized and promised that it would never happen again.
