On Tuesday, the French capital will host a meeting of the Council for Economic, Financial, Industrial and Commercial Cooperation between Russia and France.
The meeting will be chaired by the French Minister of Industry and Finance, Francis Mer, and the Russian Minister of Industry, Science and Technology, Ilya Klebanov.
A representative Russian delegation has arrived to Paris. The members are expected to discuss the results and prospects of economic, scientific, commercial and financial cooperation between the two countries in view of the official visit to France of the Russian Prime Minister, Mikhail Kasyanov, scheduled for the second half of November.
The Russian and French partners are to discuss the issues of extending the Russian-French relations in such spheres as cosmos, aircraft construction, energy, turnover growth between the two countries, as well as to determine the possibilities of the two countries' investing in a number of industrial sectors of the two countries.
In the course of Ilya Klebanov's visit to France, he is scheduled to meet the heads of the leading French industrial companies and financial institutes.
