World should be de-Americanized, China believes

According to Chinese publications, the budget crisis in the United States is a good opportunity for other countries to reject the U.S. supremacy and launch the global "de-Americanization."

One needs to build a world order, in which key interests of all countries, regardless of their size or influence would be respected and protected equally, Xinhua reports.

According to Xinhua, one needs to start building a better, de-Americanized society, right now, when American liberals and conservatives are mopping up the consequences of the fiscal crisis.

On the possible default of the U.S., Xinhua noted that inter-party feuds in the United States put dollar assets of other states at risk.

To crown it all, the publication stated the need to adopt a new international reserve currency to replace the U.S. dollar.
