After the tragedy that took place at club Kiss, in the Brazilian city of Santa Maria, the Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff ordered surprise inspections in others discoteques all over this South American country.

Over 230 people - mainly young students - died during the fire at the club Kiss on last Saturday and about 80 seriously injuried people.

This tragedy is currently considered as the third more violent club accident in the world.

Local police is investigating what caused the fire and according to the first steps of this investigation, the accident started by pyrotechnic instrument handled by a musician on the stage.

According to some survivors, the discoteque only offered one way out which made it more difficult to the crowd to step out. Furthermore, by the time the fire started, the security staff did not want to allow people to exit the place as they were afraid that the clients would not pay for what they had consumed.

The Brazilian police also investigate either CCTV system was working or if the video was deleted by the club's owners.

Owing to this tragic event, the Brazilian president, Dilma Rousseff ordered surprise inspection in the clubs all around the country, in order to check if these places have conditions to keep on open and host shows and people.
