Pamirs glacier named after Russian scientist Nikolai Gorbunov

A Pamirs glacier has been named after Russian academician Nikolai Gorbunov, on an order by the Tajik government, following the Tajik Academy of Sciences recommendation.

The Tajik president's press service said the scientist had actively participated in exploration of Pamirs, and that was the reason to name glacier 322 after him.
