NATO-EU-Russia: together against new threats to international security conference to be held in Prague November 14-15

The international conference NATO-EU-Russia: Together Against New Threats to International Security will be held in the Czech Republic, November 14-15, reported press secretary of the Russian embassy in Prague Alexander Gomenyuk.

According to him, the Russian council for foreign and defence policy and the German council for foreign policy organised the forum.

The Russian participants in the conference are expected to be Russian president's aide Sergei Yastrzhembsky, chairman of the international affairs committee of the Federation Council (the upper house of parliament) Mikhail Margelov, chairman of the State Duma (lower house of parliament) international affairs committee Dmitry Rogozin, chairman of the council for foreign and defence policy Sergei Karaganov, first deputy chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Yuri Baluyevsky, and deputy secretary of the Russian security council Oleg Chernov.

Among the foreign participants in the forum are NATO Secretary General 's deputies Guenter Altenburg, Robert Bell and Juan Martines Esparza, as well as representatives of foreign policy departments of Germany, Italy, the Czech Republic, Austria and a number of other countries.
