U.S. warns the world partners about WikiLeaks release of new secret documents

42508.jpegUS diplomats have been hard at work trying to control the fallout from the imminent release of close to three million confidential documents by the website Wikileaks.

The US state department has been briefing world leaders on the content of the diplomatic communiques, according to euronews.

PJ Crowley, a spokesman for the US State Department in Washington, criticised the imminent release.

"These revelations are harmful to the US and our interests. They are going to create tension in relationships between our diplomats and our friends around the world."

The diplomatic texts would be the third set of confidential US government documents unveiled by Wikileaks this year, Telegraph.co.uk reports.
