The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a winter snow warning for a large part of Minnesota including the Hutchinson area. The warning is in effect until noon Tuesday.
Snowfall will increase in intensity today, and snow amounts in this area since Sunday are expected to fall between 8 and 13 inches, Hutchinson Leader reports.
"We're not looking, certainly, at anything as significant as what we just had. But we are looking at the potential for winter-storm-watch-criteria snowfall," said National Weather Service meteorologist Bryan Jackson, Baltimore Sun reports.
