Three snowmobilers were reported missing when they hadn’t come back from a trip Sunday.
The authorities learned about the incident Monday but the rescue group was not able to start search until Tuesday morning.
The search was complicated due to weather conditions: 60 mile an hour winds, zero visibility and low temperatures.
The missing snowmobilers, all in their 50s, were identified as:
Greg Morris - Florida
John McKibben - Kremmling
Murry Melloni - Littleton
The search perimeter was well-established, the rescuers had a good idea of direction. The missing men were allegedly riding near Green Mountain Reservoir in the Spring Creek area, north of Silverthorne.
Still the only handicap is weather that largely reduces the time spent on search.
