Apartment fire in Beverly under control

Beverly firefighters took under control a three-alarm apartment fire but still remain on the scene.

A lot of fire may be still hidden in the walls and the ceilings.

The fire in a three-story building on Cabot Street was not discovered immediately. As the witnesses show the fire started around 12.30. The upper floors were first ablaze, the fire spreading through the roof.

All of the residents were evacuated. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
