Unidentified men have stolen Prince Charles’ geese that were to be sold by his organic and natural food brand, police said Wednesday.

About 250 geese were taken from Higher Fingle Farm in Devonshire on Nov. 30, and others died in a fire that may have been an arson attack, police said.

Charles launched his Duchy Originals food brand in 1992, and it includes a bakery that produces a range of organic pastries.

Duchy Originals said in a statement that as a result of the "heartbreaking" attack "it is unlikely that we will be able to supply our Duchy Originals Organic Geese this Christmas."

Police asked anyone who had seen a vehicle apparently used in the theft, or geese being sold in the area, to contact them.
