Suspicious package causes evacuation of eBay headquarters

EBay employees have been evacuated as a suspicious-looking package was found in the mailroom of the online auction company's headquarters.

Workers found the package Wednesday morning, spokesman Hani Durzy said. Police and a fire department bomb squad are "actively investigating," said Durzy, who refused to describe the package or say what about it raised alarms.

The mailroom is in one of nine buildings on eBay's San Jose, California, campus, where about 2,500 people work.
