Daniel Cousin, Lee McCulloch and DaMarcus Beasley scored goals to bring Rangers a 3-0 victory over Lyon on Tuesday in Group E of the Champions League.
McCulloch rose above the Lyon defense at the near post to head in a corner kick from Beasley in the 23rd minute.
Rangers doubled the lead in the 48th when Cousin collected a cross from right back Alan Hutton before spinning to beat goalkeeper Remy Vercoutre with an angled shot.
Beasley added the third goal in the 53rd, outpacing Brazilian defender Cleber Anderson to break the offside trap and slip the ball past Vercoutre from close range.
