Portugal vs. Sweden, Ice on Fire

It's Cristiano Ronaldo pitted against Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Portugal and Sweden are drawn in the play-off for the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Portugal avoids bogey team France (drawn against Ukraine). Iceland faces Croatia and Greece plays Romania.

The highest-ranked team in the play-offs is Portugal (14th in the world ranking),playing against Sweden (25); Greece (15) faces Romania (29), Croatia (18) plays Iceland (46) and Ukraine (20) faces France (21), which is a match that is more balanced, on paper.

The coaches are Paulo Bento (Portugal), Erik Hamren (Sweden); Fernando Santos, Portuguese (Greece), Victor Piturca (Romania), Niko Kovac (Croatia), Lars Lagerback (Iceland); Didier Deschamps (France), Mikhail Fomenko (Ukraine).

The games will be played on November 15 and 19, while the FIFA draw will be made in Brazil on December 6 at Costa do Sauipe, in the Brazilian State of Bahia.
