Festival of Strength Sports to take place in Yakutia

The XII Festival of Strength Sports is to take place in the capital of the Republic of Yakutia, Yakutsk, in December 16-18. Athletes from villages and cities of the republic (of sports category not lower than 2nd) are going to take part in the event.

The sports competitions were organized by the Ministry for Youth Policy and Sports in cooperation with the federations of weightlifting sports, powerlifting and armsports of the Republic of Yakutia.

Russia's absolute champion in bodybuilding in 2011, Vitaly Rudakovsky, is going to perform during the festival. Sports fans will be able to enjoy the competitions in powerlifting, arm-wrestling, weightlifting, synchronized lifts, as well as such contests as the Power of the Grip, and the Russian Press.
