Jeff Lacy and Daniel Ponce De Leon will fight on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather Jr.'s welterweight title bout with Ricky Hatton on Dec. 8.
Lacy, the former super middleweight titlist, will get his first fight since undergoing shoulder surgery last December when he takes on Peter Manfredo Jr., who gained fame on the boxing reality show "The Contender."
The fight will be the first for Lacy (22-1, 17 KOs) since signing with Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya's company. The former U.S. Olympian, nicknamed "Left Hook," lost his title to unbeaten Joe Calzaghe in March 2006, then tore his rotator cuff in his next fight.
Ponce De Leon (33-1, 30 KOs), the hard-hitting WBO junior featherweight champion, already has fought twice since early August. He will take on Eduardo Escobedo, a Texas contender who has won his last seven fights.
Lightweights Wes Ferguson and Edner Cherry will lead off the televised portion of the pay-per-view card with a rematch.
Mayweather and Hatton will risk their unbeaten records at the MGM Grand.
