An estimated 7,000 people showed up to watch Bruce Willis and his blues band perform at the Kennedy Space Center's rocket garden.

Fans cheered Thursday night as Willis sang and played the harmonica, filling the moments between songs by bantering with the crowd.

"We love playing for you," Willis said. "Even when it's hot."

After the concert was a screening of "Armageddon" on a giant inflatable screen across the lawn from the stage. In the movie, Willis leads a group to destroy a giant asteroid headed toward Earth. Parts of the movie were filmed at Kennedy Space Center.

The concert was part of a series called "Netflix LIVE! On Location." The series features classic movies and celebrity musical performances.
