Rolling Stone is headed to China.

The magazine will launch a Chinese-language edition in February. It will contain a mix of local content and translations from the U.S. edition.

Kent Brownridge, general manager of Rolling Stone's parent company, Wenner Media, said Rolling Stone, which has editions in 10 other countries, projects a circulation of 30,000 for the first issue.

The Chinese-language edition has been licensed to Hong Kong-based One Media Group, which will lead a staff based in Beijing, AP reports.
