Brazil will remain at full strength in the World Cup qualifiers even after it clinches its berth in the 2006 finals.
Сoach Carlos Alberto Parreira said Friday he will summon Brazil's top players for every game, even if the team beats Chile on Sunday to clinch a berth in the Cup finals in Germany. Brazil, a five-time champion and the only country that has played in every World Cup, plays its final two qualifiers in October against Bolivia and Venezuela. But if Brazil already has qualified, Parreira could meet resistance from European clubs, almost all of which have started their seasons and likely will be reluctant to release players, AP reports. Still, the Brazilian confederation, of CBF supported Parreira's decision to use the "A" team. Brazil's veterans support Parreira's decision too. Team captain Cafu, who has played in three Cup finals, said the team already was preparing for Germany.
