Libya and Sudan drew in African Group 3
Libya and Sudan drew 0-0 Friday in a match between two teams already eliminated from World Cup contention.
Neither side impressed, drawing prolonged jeers from the crowd of 40,000 in June 11 Stadium. Libya, playing without Nader al-Tarhouni and Tarek al-Taeeb, improved to 12 points from nine matches, leaving it in fourth place in African qualifying Group 3, seven points behind Ivory Coast, five behind Cameroon and one behind Egypt.
