Russian Flash Mob Fails

Russian first-ever flash mob took place in one of Moscow's major stores on the Red Square on August 15th. Not more than 20 people took part in the event, their average age was 25-30 years old.

To conduct a flash mob, a large group of people gathers in a predetermined location, they perform some brief action and then disperse as suddenly as they appeared.

The conditions of the Moscow flash mob stipulated: everyone's cellular phones were supposed to ring the alarm at 7:33 p.m. After that, the people had to take each other's hands and walk around the fountain in the store, clapping their hands and throwing coins in the fountain.

However, several conditions were broken: the participants of the action did not hold each other's hands, and they did not throw coins in the fountain. In addition to it, the people were not clapping their hands much and just a few of them set the alarm on their cell phones.

Flash mobs have become very popular in the West. Most often, such events take place in busy places to attract everyone's attention.
