International Youth Festival Was Held in Kaliningrad Region Last Weekend

An international youth festival was held over the last weekend in the town of Gvardeisk, the Kaliningrad Region, on the initiative of Hans Bartellson, a stage director, President of the Swedish Crowns and Keys non-commercial cultural company. The guests of the festival were young people, ages from 16 through 33, from Sweden, Poland and throughout Russia.

While the festival lasted, a number of roundtables were held and folklore stage shows presented. Represented were the Polish Caesars, the Tilsit -Theater of the town of Sovetsk, the Kaliningrad Region, the No Drugs in the 21st Century group from the Orekhovo drug addicts rehabilitation centre, break dance and rap performers, etc.
