Attempt on Moscow Vice-Mayor's life

An attempt on the life of Moscow Vice-Mayor Joseph Ordzhonikidze has been made in Moscow, Moscow's main interior department reported.

According to the preliminary information, Ordzhonikidze's bodyguard and an assailant were killed.

The incident took place Thursday morning on the Aminyevo highway in the western administrative district of Moscow. Unidentified persons shelled the official's car.

This has been one more life attempt on Ordzhonikidze.
