IOC President Jacques Rogge: Chances Are Good Moscow May Host 2012 Olympics

On Saturday, June 15, Jacques Rogge, the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), said at a press conference in Moscow that the chances of Russia's capital city to host the 2012 Olympic games were good. He continued saying that Moscow had repeatedly proved its capabilities as to hosting large-scale sports events, which made the possibility interesting to the IOC. 'Of course', Mr. Rogge added, 'the struggle for the privilege to host the games will be hard. Still Moscow has much enough to offer'.
