Strongest athletes from 18 countries to participate in Yekaterinburg rounds of Rock-Climbing World Cup

Three rounds of Rock-Climbing World Cup will be held in Yekaterinburg (Urals) from May 17th to 26th. It is envisaged that the top athletes, including rock-climbers from the world's top twenty in men's and women's mountain-climbing, from 18 countries of the world will participate in the competitions, the organising committee disclosed this to a RIA Novosti correspondent. The participants are from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, France, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Slovenia and Belgium. The first round in difficulty and speed will be held in a sports stadium on May 17th-19th. The second round in speed will be held on May 22nd as a night performance at the new rock-climbing arena, constructed in the trade city "Dirizhabl". The third round will be held on May 25th-26th nearby the trade city "Dirizhabl" on the tracks about 25 meters high. It is worth noting that the competitions to be attended by audiences will be held in any weather. The solemn closing of the competitions is to take place on May 26th.
