As the countdown towards the World Cup Finals begins, Senegal soccer star Diouf has criticised his country’s policy regarding the national team.
El-Hadji Diouf, Senegal’s star striker, claims that there are a lot of “amateurs” managing the national team and that the chances of the team doing well in Korea/Japan have been “sabotaged” by a lack of preparation games with more difficult opponents.
After the African Nations Cup, Senegal has only played one game, against Bolivia, which they won 2-1. Considered the best African player for 2001 by the African Football Confederation, Diouf also blames the company responsible for the promotion of his team before the finals.
